Medical Background

Prior to graduation from medical school, Dr. Jackson received his BS degree in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma University. As a pharmacist practicing from 1975 to 1991, Dr. Jackson owned and operated multiple pharmacies under the names of "The Drug Store" and "Blaine's Drugs" in the areas of Del Mar, San Marcos and Escondido.

Dr. Jackson graduated with a medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in Plymouth, Montserrat in 1995. From 1994 to 1995, Dr. Jackson gained his clinical experience in Romford (London), England at the Old Church Hospital and at Rancho Las Amigos in Downey, CA. In 1996 Dr. Jackson began his residency in Internal Medicine at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, CA. From 1998 to 2000 Dr. Jackson completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

 

After completing his residency, Dr. Jackson accepted a position as an Internal Medicine physician at Quality Care Medical Center in both Vista and Escondido locations where he specialized in and practiced internal medicine until 2005. Dr. Jackson has since then started his own practice in Solana Beach specializing in internal medicine, immunizations, travel medications, opioid treatment, aesthetic services and family health care.
